Meet PAula
Paula is a compassionate, trauma-informed and strength-based psychologist with a background in Mental Health, Functional Recovery, Disabilities and Behaviour Support. She is able to assist with difficulties across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting, emotional regulation, neurodiversity and relationship difficulties.
Her integrative therapeutic approach, personalised to each client, includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
She creates a supportive, non-judgemental and collaborative environment to explore presenting concerns, identify therapeutic goals and finds solutions to increase wellbeing, resilience and quality of life for her clients across the Sunshine Coast.
Child Psychology
Paula is skilled in engaging and working with children and their parents. She creates a safe and fun space, allowing them to grow and develop awareness of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Adolescent Psychology
Having spent over 20 years working with young people (12 to 25 years) in a wide range of supportive roles, Paula is able to engage with them, and develop a strong therapeutic alliance. This enables young people to be open, develop trust and self reflection.
Adult Psychology
Paula enjoys working with people of all ages. She is able to support clients to address thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are getting in the way of them living a fulfilling life.
